Coreografo internazionale
il nuovo percorso di studio e ricerca proposto dal Centro Coreografico Opus Ballet per l’anno 2016/2017. Il progetto propone quattro appuntamenti da Settembre a Maggio con coreografi presenti e attivi nel panorama della danza contemporanea europea.
Ultimo appuntamento con il primo O.D.C. / Opus Dance Circuit 2016/2017, il percorso di studio e ricerca proposto dal Centro Coreografico Opus Ballet.
Dopo i precedenti incontri con Antony Missen, Emanuel Gat, Natalia Iwaniec e Ivan Perez, il Centro propone l’ultimo appuntamento organizzando un laboratorio di danza contemporanea con il coreografo spagnolo German Jauregui.
Il workshop si svolgerà dal 1 al 5 Maggio 2017 per tre ore giornaliere ed è aperto a danzatori di livello pre-professionale e professionale che desiderano comprendere e approfondire il linguaggio del coreografo.
Le classi sono a numero chiuso e si svolgeranno a Firenze, presso Le Murate PAC in piazza delle Murate e al Centro Coreografico Opus Ballet.
German Jauregui, spagnolo di origine e residente in Belgio, è coreografo, danzatore e docente.
Dal 1998 al 2008 danza con la Compagnia Ultima Vez diretta da Wim Vandekeybus, partecipando alla creazione sia di diverse produzioni quali “In spite of wishing and wanting”, “Inasmuch as life is borrowed”, “Blush”, “Soni Boom”, “Puur” e “Spiegel”, che di cortometraggi e video delle stesse.
Tra il 2014 e il 2015 si esibisce nel tour dello spettacolo “What the body does not remember”.
Ha inoltre collaborato con Loic Touze, Idoia Zabaleta / Moare danza, Eolo Teatro e Deabru Beltza partecipando a progetti internazionali.
Attualmente, oltre a mantenere viva la sua collaborazione con Ultima Vez, lavora come coreografo e danzatore indipendente e tiene seminari in tutto il mondo.

International choreographer
Is drawing to a close the first O.D.C. / Opus Dance Circuit 2016/2017, the course of study and research proposed from Centro Coreografico Opus Ballet.
After the previous experiences with Emanuel Gat, Natalia Iwaniec and Ivan Perez, the Centre proposes as last appointment the workshop with the Spanish choreographer German Jaureguie.
The workshop will take place from the 1st till the 5th of May for three hours a day and its open to pre-professional and professional dancers who wish to practice and deepen today’s body language in a situation of close contact with the choreographer.
The classes will be in Florence, at Le Murate PAC, piazza delle Murate and at Centro Coreografico Opus Ballet, via Ugo Foscolo 6.

German Jareguie, of Spanish origin but based in Belgium, is a choreographer, dancer and teacher.
